I purchased this mount for my Celestron 8" SCT. I am using this mount to attach a short tube refractor to my 8" SCT to be used as a guide scope for astrophotography. The bracket is very well made and I had no problems in installing this bracket for my guide scope. Very solid and sturdy and works very well. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs to mount an assessory to thier SCT.
