After sitting in the living room for two or more months, out it goes for a moon hunt. This is my first telescope and first time outside. Moon is about 75% full and it 83-deg out. No wind and clear. Had to put the legs out full and placed the 32mm objective in. Lined up the moon at 37-deg latitude with the spotter and finally got the Moon. Amazing and very bright and very detailed with 32mm Obj. Wanted to get a picture with the iPhone but "not". Will have to use the Canon connectors. I am concerned about the ability of the locking levers to hold the weight of the pieces still and in place as I set them. But I will make it work. I like the scope. Will be using a moon filter to cut the light and lower objectives from my Celestron kit of filters and objectives.
Pros: Moon watching - good lens
Cons: Locking the scope to a latitude
