Great locator

Pros: very easy to use and accurate

Cons: possibly too precise for pre-teen use

We purchased this for us and our son - 8 years old - very interested in everything space... he loves it. point it at anything and it will tell you what it is (both verbally and in text format on the screen. you have to be very precise although in aligning the 2 circles in the viewfinder though, so thats kinda hard for a kid to do (thats the one point reduction in usability). would highly recommend it for any backyard astronomer - much easier to use and knowledgeable than a paper star dial chart.
