Quality construction, Nice outer coating. Excellent clarity, color and overall viewing quality - not only at this price but compares well with scopes that cost much more. Sealed and weather - proof, ED coating makesthis a great platform for digiscoping. (Buy an Alpen Spotting Scope Digital Camera Adapter (#706) for $59.85 for the best results). "The Planet" has the best price for both! *** LARichard ***

Cons:  Field of view is somewhat narrow , but that'sonly in comparison to scopes costing many times more.
Would recommend:  yes

I'd recommend this scope to occasional wildlife watchers like myself who want to see well but do not want to spring for a four figure scope.
