I purchased this headlamp as a replacement of one identical, from a previous purchase. I use this product daily, and just wore one out after two or three years of service. In that time I had to repair the wiring at the battery box, and at the light housing, as repeated flexing had fatigued an internal conductor within the jacket.
I had also replaced the head band, as the elastic had stretched beyond it's serviceable limit, after about a year and a half.
I find this headlamp to be comfortable, because of the battery pack being remote of the light housing. This tends to balance the weight of the overall product, unlike headlamps that have batteries within the light housing. They tend to feel front heavy, and uncomfortable. This is a great feature.
The intensity of light is adjustable using the top mounted slide lever on the battery pack. It is easily adjusted, even with gloved hands. This feature not only extends the battery life, but is useful when low light is all that is needed, or while working with reflecting items that create glare.
The tilt feature is handy when working on projects at chest level or reading. Tilting your lamp down will be appreciated when facing other people, as the LED's are bright, and annoying to others.
I do not use the supplied storage pouch, as I find it cumbersome to roll up the strap, wires, and housings enough to fit the pouch. Mainly because I use the light so often. It does, however, work well for compact storage.
