Fantastic views of the Sun

The PST quickly became my favorite telescope. When mounted on a lightweight photo tripod, it's easy to check out what has changed on the Sun several times a day. My PST shipped with a 20mm eyepiece, but I usually prefer the higher power view through a 12mm. The scope works very well with medium priced eyepieces.

The sun in a new light

Provide this telesope with a sturdy tripod and tripod-head, use the best ocular you can get, darken your head/face during the observation and take time and calm down. With a little luck you will see movements and changes on the surface or the protuberances within minutes, at least within hours. That's worthwhile !
