lasergrips for ruger p90

by manda, from United States, LA Written on August 30, 2014
product came in fast and had no problems with the fit or the feel of the gun after putting on the grips. like the fact that either side of the grip allows you to active the laser, and having the switch to turn off the laser when not in use does make it nice....

Very nice addition to my carry gun.

Love these new grips for my carry weapon (Ruger P90). These replace your existing grips with a soft rubber that connects across the front. Definitely an improvement over the stock Ruger grips, which were quite slippery once your hands began to sweat at all. Very easy to activate - they have a small button on both sides to accommodate right or left handed shooters in the location where the tip of your middle finger comes to rest as you wrap it around the grip. I have left the power switch in the on position for over 6 years and the batteries are still going strong, so no worries there. All in all, a great product for personal defense if you're willing to make the investment.
Pros: soft rubber grip, battery life, ease of use

Crimson Trace Laser Grips are great

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on July 15, 2013
These are great for low light use when your pistol sights are difficult to see. I installed these in less than a half hour. I am confident in their use.
Pros: Easy to install, easy to operate
Cons: Laser dot hard to see in bright sunlight...

Crimson Trace Ruger P90

It's difficult to do one of these "best/worst" reviews. Laser grips are a great device for teaching new shooters (and old ones, too!) proper trigger control either in dry, or live, fire. I own other CT products, and this one is just like the others. I would not have bought it if I had been dissatisfied with the others.

This particular model does have some minor quirks: 1) The ribbon cable from the left to right grip panel could crimp if you aren't aware of how it's seated in the grip; 2) the beam from the grip partially hits the rounded end of the slide release (right side of the frame) and gives a "here I am" reflection. A little creative file work could easily correct the "problem"; 3) the "dot" is the legal max power, but impossible to see in bright Alabama sunshine (not CT's fault).

Pros: Excellent training tool
Cons: Expensive...
