Pros: another tool in training and IRL,
Cons: less cushion for recoil control and no use in day time.
Would recommend: yes

Since real gun fights are dynamic I can't say if you are going to have time to look for the red dot, like most report not seeing sights in their gun fight. But any little edge may help. FDA limits make it not useful in daylight, but 80% of shooting happen in low light.
Excellent training and sighting tool!

Exceeds expectations and the best price that I can find. Eases the recoil from 357 and 38 + p but the price you pay is conceal ability.
Excellent addition to a J Frame

Pros: Easy to use & always ready. Big improvement over sighted firing for the small J-frame.
Cons: None.
Would recommend: yes

For old eyes or young ones, the big red dot on your target makes shooting the J frame alot easier. The laser grips add no bulk to the pistola, and my J-Frame wearing CT Laser Grips is my summer carrry in my front pocket. As my second pair of Crimson Trace Laser Grips, the round butt grips Model LG-305 are better than expected, with a red dot larger and brighter than my old grips. BTW the old grips on my 1911 have been on for over two years and have sustained more than 8000 rounds of 45acp without needing any readjustment!! The Crimson Trace laser grips are truly awesome, a 5/5.

I have plenty of confidence in Crimson Trace. They produce excellant laser grips. The S&W grip is perfect fit for that style revolver. A laser makes a great practice aid as well. Day and night, hit your target with ease and precision. I have spoken to Crimson Trace representatives by phone and contacted them by mail. I'm impressed!

An outstanding grip & value. I shopped at dozens of locations and you can't beat opticsplanet's price (even without free shipping!) I since have purchased a 2nd pair for another gun. I have been a firearms instructor for 30 years, & with my aging eyes, this is the cat's meow! You won't be sorry with these grips!
