Worked for 5 minutes

I got this thing in the mail and was excited to go out shooting over the Thanksgiving holiday. Before putting it on the gun, I put in the battery and pointed it at the floor, nice bright red dot. My kids tried to pounce on it like Cats on Youtube, so I humored them for a few minutes and then it started to fade out. I removed the battery and put it back in and it worked for a few seconds then faded out again. I figured it was a bad battery. Broke out the volt meter and it was 2.9 Volts. That should still work. I emailed CT Customer Service and waited a few days, after not getting a response I went and bought new batteries, still no luck. I'm pretty disappointed that something this expensive failed so quickly. I haven't heard back from Crimson Trace yet, granted I emailed then on Thanksgiving, but 6 days later, still no response.
Pros: Nice smooth integration with gun
Cons: Only worked for 5 minutes....

Crimson Trace products are well-designed and well-made. I have several CT lasers besides this one -- and they all work well. I had one CT laser for a new Ruger LCP which had a switch problem, and the CT people replaced the unit, with a very quick turn-around and free shipping.
Pros: I use primarily for dry-fire exercises, and the CT laser fits the gun well and is easy to adjust.

This is the Mercedes of Lasers

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MO Written on April 26, 2013
This is the 2nd Crimson Trace I have purchased and with their grip activation there is no better laser out there. If they make one to fit your particular pistol I would highly recommend. Because of the grip activation there is no panic if you have to activate it in an emergency. It is perfectly natural. I love them!
Pros: It is perfect

Great Product

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, MN Written on February 15, 2013
I purchased this product for my Kahr PM9 mostly because it was advertised as easy to install and use. When it arrived I was very pleased at the ease of installation. Fit was perfect and it really was simple to install, I had it on the gun in a matter of minutes and ready to sight.

I use a bore sight laser and after inserting it into the barrel of my PM9 I turned it on then activated the Crimson Trace by simply holding the gun and applying a small amount of pressure to the grip area as advertised. At 21 feet the bore sight laser and the Crimson Trace Laser were about 4 inches apart (just high and left) I adjusted the elevation set screw and the windage set screw with a couple of turns and the lasers were on top of one another.

I took the gun to the range the next day and dispensed over a hundred rounds, I couldn't believe how accurate this setup was. I went to Conceal and Carry class the following weekend and qualified with this gun using the Crimson Trace, it was absolutely great in low light situations which I was told are the majority of real life shooting situations.

One of the things I like most about this product is the ease of use, there is no on/off switch on this device, when you grip the gun the laser comes on and you are ready to go.

Easy to install, easy to use and accurate, that's a trifecta in my book, I highly recomend it.
Pros: Easy to install, easy to adjust, works every time, very accurate
Cons: A little spendy but you get what you pay for...

Works as described, wish it had on/off switch

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NV Written on January 28, 2013
Awesome add-on, as noted in pros, it does what it is supposed to do - point and accurately acquire target. It would terrific if it could be powered off to save battery during open sight target shotting, but not a deal breaker by any means.
Pros: Easy to install and adjust, accurate
Cons: No on/off switch - probably due to compact size...
