Apprehensive at first

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on February 10, 2013
When I first installed the Crimson Trace laser grips on my G23 it seemed like it was going to be awkward to use. Possibly risking pulling the trigger when atempting to activate laser.

This turned out to be a non-issue. Once I performed a few practice draws I realized that it's hard to not activate the laser. It is amazing how quickly you can acquire the target. Long before the sights are at eye level you can have the laser dead on the target. If God forbid I have to use my gun for self defense this will absolutely give me an edge.
Pros: Very well made, compact size, ease of use
Cons: Cost, adds to grip thickness ...

Crimson trace's front activation is easy to get used to and unlike rear activated model, you can sweep a dark house without giving away your position by keeping your middle finger relaxed. On/off switch is a great improvement and so far, I've nearly 700 rounds through my Glock17 without a problem. Sight is still zero, even after removal and putting it back on.
Pros: easy to install, turn on/off and activate
Cons: would like to see a pulse option in the future...
Would recommend: Yes

Crimson Trace Laser...Outstanding Product

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on April 26, 2010
This laser grip is very ergonomical and the laser is very bright. It was a breeze to install and sight in, sighting it in at 75ft took about 15 minutes to get it were I wanted it. I have no doubt that it will endure anything I can throw at it...planning on buying a spare.

Pros: Durable, Comfortable grip, Great overall quality...
