Crimson Trace Lasergrip for Sig Sauer

by Gail, from United States, FL Written on November 18, 2014
Works well only after modifying the bolts provided for installation. They were too long and did not allow the clip to go into place. Had to add washers to make it work.

This was a solution, but the real solution is to fix the bolt size included with the purchase....

fit fine on gun, when mag was in place laser would not work. when you remove mag light would come on. called opticsplanet was told to call crimson trace. called crimson trace was told to add small washer under the grip screws. did not solve the problem. called crimson trace again and talked to craig and was advised there was a problem with this model, lg 432. he said he would work on the problem and try to fix it. he sent me a new one in the mail and fixed the problem. great service from crimson trace. after all the problems this is a great system....

Once you go Crimson Trace there is no turning back

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on May 8, 2014
This laser has done more to improve my shooting then anything else. I can shoot my pistol faster now because of the time saved of having to line up the iron sights.

I will be adding Crimson Trace lasers to all of my firearms.

The laser is bright, I am able to use this at the outdoor range at 25 yards on a very sunny day.

On the indoor range I can see this laser at 50 yards no problem....

Grips Won't Fit a Newer Model P-232

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 9, 2014
When I place a magazine in the P-232, the Crimson grips do not work. When I pull the magazine out, it works. I think the grip screws are causing problems with electrical continuity of the grips because the screw touch the magazine.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: High cost, low reliability...

Screws Won't Work

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 4, 2014
I found that if you use the factory grip screws for the Crimson Trace grips, the magazine won't extract because the screws are too long and scrap the side of the magazine. The only way that the Crimson grips will work is if there is no magazine in the firearm! I'm sending the C-grips back for a refund....

Check your grips carefully. The new P232 Sigs are delivered with Hogue grips and a different grip screw than the prior P232. The Crimson Trace grips will not work with this new grip screw. And Crimson Trace will tell you, or at least they told me, to go talk to Sig. It is a nice grip. But they have no issue selling you a product that will not work with current manufacture firearm.
Pros: Quality Function.
Cons: Expensive. Poor Customer Service...

Lasergrip

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on December 10, 2009
Been looking for/wanting a set for some time...site provided in a Sig email, figured the time was right. Easy order process, product delivered promptly and in good condition....once I went through a bit of a learning curve the grips installed and "fine tuned" as if "factory"......thank you.
Pros: Relatively easy to install.....works like a charm.
Cons: None that I'm aware of....

Crimson Laser grips

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, VA Written on November 23, 2009
I had purchased one of these for my wife's gun to make the aim easier for her, I liked it enough to buy one for my gun too. It takes all the guess work out of where you are aiming. Will make all the difference in a high stress situation.
Pros: Easy to use and install.
Cons: Somewhat pricey, but worth it in the long run....
