The CMR-201 is the perfect laser for my M&P 45. Because the handgun does have the ambidextrous thumb safety I had to go with a rail mount. The laser was very easy to install and sight in. The switches are in the perfect position so activating the laser is almost automatic. Great product!

Instructions stated that only a 1/4 turn would be needed to adjust laser. It took several turns on both vertical and horizontal adjustments to align laser with iron sights and bore site. I may have received a returned unit in which the factory adjustment was moved or the fixed and non removable rail on the pistol is not true with barrel.
