Quality Built, Heavy, Thick, and Unique

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on May 14, 2013
This little knife is built like a tank! The good features are a thick blade that holds a good edge and has suprisingly good ergonomics given a compact knife of this size. It fits very well in the hand and allows for confident cutting and scraping using the perpendicular edge. It is on the heavy side and will take up substantial pocket room if it's an every day carry knife. The bone grips are so-so in my opinion. I would have prefered a few other grip material choices. Overall, it's a well built tool that appears to be built for a long life of service. It is too heavy and thick for my pocket, but does great as a fishing vest and truck console knife. I was a little hesitant at the price, but the quality build level justifies the expenditure. I have several other CRKT products, and all are outstanding.
Pros: Good Quality, Razor Sharp, Stout, Handy, Holds a Good Edge
Cons: Heavy, Blade Length, Bone Grips Not for Everyone, Moderatley Pricey...
