I bought a Double-Stack Solar Max 60(BF15). Looking at the sun through this telescope is completely different from looking at a single-stacked telescope. The field of vision is darker and prominences are harder to see, but the way that I can see the sun's chromosphere has improved remarkably and I can observe complex structures on the sun's surface in high contrast.Even with just the single filter, I can see patterns, but the darkness of the patterns is completely different. The longer I look, the more I can see the patterns on the sun's surface, so I hardly care about the existence of prominences. Really, no matter how much I look, I don't get tired of it. I'm highly satisfied with it. Thank you.

Unsatisfied with the performance of the solar telescope I bought before, this time I bought a Coronado 60mm Solar Max II BF10. The weight is lighter than I thought it would be so it is easy to carry, and it is also easy to use with the camera tripod. Also, about the new feature RichView tuning, it is possible to take the details of the sun's chromosphere surface with the best contrast. I am very satisfied with this amazing function and performance. In the near future I will get a hold of a double stack filter, and I look forward to another different contrast. It seems like the solar telescopes hereafter will become very fulfilling. Thank you very much.
Better than PST

Pros: Compact, bright view
Cons: weak eyepiece, cheap plastic details, bad ballance

This telescope is definitely a step forward from Coronado PST. The BF10 provides noticeably brighter view which allows for higher magnification with your own eyepieces. I went up to 80x easily. However I don't see a reason for x3 price, compared to PST. As the build quality is towards the low-end still. The focuser side feels flimsy, the box has small but disappointing imperfections (hinges, locks, labels are crooked). The included eyepiece is almost useless, providing weak magnification and unstable image (though it could be amusing to watch how the image changes depending on your head position). Still a good purchase as there are no alternatives anyway.
