I replaced Browning med. mounts with DNZ after seeing that the Browning mounts did not clear a Leupold VX-III 50mm objective scope. The medium DNZ is very slightly higher. The DNZ Web site has the height specs published: I chose their medium after verifying the barrel to scope mount height by placing paper "shims" under my Browning bases and measuring the height when my scope cleared the barrel. This was helpful to verify before ordering. Lastly, I lapped the rings with a Sinclair setup: The black finish wear was even! ie: no misalignment at all, which is not typical. These are quality mounts that I much prefer over Browning's own.
Pros: Accurate mounts, company site has height specs
