Better than I expected!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AZ Written on March 25, 2011
This little jewel more than met my expectations! Well made, lightweight and incredibly bright light. I mounted it on the foregrip of my AR15, along with a laser and 6x32 scope. It provides enough light to see clearly, even out to 200 yards. I'm going to order another one just to have as a standard carry flashlight. The grip diameter is a little less than the one inch specified, so, I used 1" scope rings with some electrical tape wraps around the light to get the diameter up to size.
Pros: Bright, light weight, well built, inexpensive
Cons: none...

Dorcy 4289 LED flashlight

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TN Written on January 12, 2011
This is a Great flashlight and is probably the best light for the money. I wanted to mount it on a gun but it is 27mm thus too big for a 1" mount and a tad too small for a 30mm mount. I used some shims made from a plastic 35mm film canister and a 30mm offset mount. I also like the AAA battery power and I am buying another.
Pros: Great Light! Super bright- best light for the money
Cons: Requires a 30mm mount & shims -won't fit a 1" mount...

You can't find a brighter flashlight for this price, I searched for weeks. It compares to the SureFire lights that run $150-$250 and is brighter than some of those. It has the tactical switch, too, for quick spotting or blinding criminals without giving away an accurate position of yourself.
Pros: Extremely bright...
