About the only negative I can make is that adjusting the aluminum struts and adjusting the harness for torso length are a bit trickier than shown in Eberlestock's video. The struts take some fiddling to bend evenly, and the harness tolerances are very tight, so slipping everything back in place is annoying, but once you're set up, you shouldn't have to do it again. Otherwise, this pack is a beast, and eve though it's a bit heavier than other similar packs, I think it's worth the extra weight.

Look every where for reviews of this bag, not alot outhere. I bought the battleship(coyote brown)anyways, i liked the look of the bag and the video at the eberlestock website. Eberlestock was awsome to deal with, promt delivery and i live in central B.C.. Going sheep hunting in the fall and wanted a large bag that was bullet proof. features everywhere i think they thought of everything. Loaded it down with 70lbs and did a local over nighter to try out the bag and the rest of my gear. I't worked well load rode on the hips and lowerback. hardly anything on the shoulders. Buddy just bought the MR nice 6500. so far we both think the battleship was the better buy. but will know more after a good ten day killing spree in northern British Columbia.

If your "man" enough to carry it this is a great pack. I had some issues getting the internal frame molded just right but, that's no fault of the makers. It holds alot, 7 days of food, 3 changes of clotheing, stove, fuel, ammunition and all the little stuff that goes with it. If your going to fully load it be prepared for 85 lbs and then some.
