ESS CDI MAX

Glasses are great. Fits my oversized melon nicely. Feel a little cheaper than I would have expected for combat eye protection, but otherwise due the trick, I won't know about durability until I find myself taking some tumbles like usual. The strap keeps them in place very well. Only thing that I would hope for are polarized lenses.
Pros: Fits my big melon. Interchangable lenses.
Cons: Plastic "feels" a little flimsy. Polarized options would be great!...

ESS CDI Max

They look durable enough. I thought they'd be a little sturdier but haven't had any problems with them except they don't fit my Asian flat nose. However the elastic strap they come with does hold them over my eyes, so all in all, I can't say I'm disappointed. Good peripheral vision and everything else. Just wish that it was held up by my nose, not the strap that goes around the back. And I wish they sold polarized lenses. I would definitely pay more for that.
Pros: Feel protected, won't slip from my, good vision
Cons: Doesn't fit my nose, wish there was a polarized version...
Would recommend: Yes

ESS CDI Max Large Fit Sunglasses

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on May 30, 2010
The sections over the ears are sharp from the manufacturing process and will hurt your ears quickly. Be ready to use a nail file on it. Glasses are only a little flexable and basically non-adjustable. Too tight fitting behind the ears and not really that much of a "Large Fit".
Pros: Bulletproof
Cons: Sharp edges over ears, still too small...

I put my Pro M Frame Oakleys in the shooting bag after getting these. The ESS are less conspicuous and fold for storage, all the while still clearing my huge melon. I'm quite happy that I grabbed these instead of the regular CDI glasses, which would have been too small.
Pros: Great price, very clear and easy-to-swap lenses...
