Near perfect

This is a great deal for quality products. I wish they came with polarized lenses already, but don't. Had to purchase separate. Polarized is the only way to go. Comes with a hard case and strap to attach to rig, use it all the time when switching to clear lenses for night. These are small enough to wear all day, but feel like the old granny wrap around sunglasses when out in public. For deployments, GREAT! Buy two and get four frames with backup lenses and get the polarized, trust me.
Pros: Polarized lenses and quick change ability. TWO locking frames
Cons: Needs reinforcement at joints...

Prettty Darn Good

My only complaint is that when stationary for over 10 mins and sweating ALOT with a hat on, the lenses will not fog but get a tick moisture coating on them distorting view. They are VERY east to clean and use. Also worth noting when dusty environments the fog proof coating will grab the dust out of the air and cloud vision. great glasses and would buy again if they broke (not expecting at all).
Pros: Very robust, very scratch resistant, very comfortable
Cons: when stationary with hat on the lenses will not for , but will get a moisture covering on the inside of the lesne making it hard to see...

Recommended for Overall Quality and Value

ESS' reputation for quality eye protection among users in the field initially led me to consider the Crossbow line of lenses. This specific kit (740-0386) interested me because of its value: two full sets of eye protection with different lenses and one hard case.

Prior to ordering, I was unsure about the fit of the ESS Crossbow frame on my head. According to other ESS offerings, I would be a candidate for the ESS ICE Naro line that is designed for narrower heads. I ordered the Crossbow because I wanted to try their advertised, "zero pressure point universal fit."

Upon receiving the ESS Crossbow I was pleased to discover that the frame fit well. It has less than a finger space of distance from my temples and did not appear to stick out when viewed from the front. Moreover, others with wider heads--suited for the non-Naro ESS ICE line--tried the Crossbow and did not report any fit issues.

The lenses wrap around the eyes and cover a large part of the face. The lower part of the lenses easily reach my cheek bones and I feel well protected. Moreover, there are no visibility issues, even with the grey lenses in an indoor shooting range setting.

I have owned the Crossbow for two months now and I find them comfortable--no pinching or ear lobe pain--despite hours of wear with earmuff-style ear protection.

My only complaint with the kit is the included strap that clips to the end of the frames. The kit advertises two full sets and I assumed it would also include two stra...
