I recently ordered the ESS Striketeam SJ Goggles beacuse I was having a difficult time finding goggles that would meet all of my needs. I am not a firefighter, rescue worker, or EMT. I happen to do quite a bit of suppressed full auto shooting and if you have any experience with suppressed shooting you will know that gas blowback can be an issue - especially on a machine gun. These goggles were exactly what I needed. Every other goggle I tried allowed the blown back gases to reach my eyes. Literally making it impossible to see after 20-30 rounds. With the striketeams, this is not a problem. I do wear protective glasses underneath the goggles as a safety precaution with no adverse affects. While the Striketeams do block 99% of the blowback, some does creep in however it is quite manageable. For the price - you can't beat these goggles if you are looking for a way to escape that nasty blowback.
