The flip-up eyepiece lens cover was cracked when I purchased it. Can you send me a replacement? Thanks....

Firefield 1x6x24 First Focal Plane Riflescope

When Im viewing thru the lens, my particular unit had a slight ellipse (blacked-out area) near the internal left lens edge (color selector side). This was not due to the parallax, but it appears the lens had been partially painted on one edge or a seal had a slight shift during the assembly process. Im hoping that this will not become an issue under the shock of recoil when it is being used. It is only a minor problem that I will wait to see if it becomes a larger issue that quality control could have prevented. As for the features, price and actual lens clarity. This scope rocks!...

I strongly suggest that you either change the background colors/wall paper of the screen where you would register for a new account. There is absolutely no contrast and I cannot read the text on the screen. The lines also need to be made thinner, by approximately 40-50% thinner or make them transparent like the rest of the reticle....

Great for the money

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, AZ Written on July 31, 2013
The supplied rings are too low to be used on an ar15. Had to use an ar15 scope mount
Pros: Great for the price, true 1x mil dot reticle. Accurate adjustments
Cons: Reticle becomes cluttered at 6x, supplied rings too low for ar15...

Nice Scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 20, 2013
Seems clear, easy to install and use. I have it on an AR-15 with a bull barrel so the weight just makes my heavy rifle a bit heavier.
Pros: Nice view
Cons: Bit heavy...

Top low cost FFP tactical scope

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, AZ Written on May 23, 2013
I agree. After putting it though its paces, here is the good and bad.
Good:
1. Virtually perfect 1x;
2. Accurately calibrated mildot reticle for ranging and related purposes;
3. Fully repeatable adjustments (boxed perfectly across windage and elevation);
4. Holds zero well;
5. POI does not change across all magnification levels;
6. Good quality rings for price, if their low height works for your particular rifle;
7. Very good brightness and minimal chromatic (color consistencies and related) issues;
8. Good weight and compact size;

Bad:
1. MOA adjustments for windage and elevation, while repeatable, is not fully calibrated;
2. Needs a Flash Kill for military or police uses, as illuminated reticle shines bright both ways;
3. Rings a bit too low for my specific rifle M&P AR-15, Burris PEPR worked great as replacement; but considering they are free rings, I shouldn't complain as they are solid and tighten well;
4. Focus changes slightly between 4 and 6x (could possibly be my eyesight and progressive lenses);
5. Reticle a little beefy at 6x for some uses like competitive shooting. However, if you are a competitive shooter you ate not likely looking at a $200 scope;

Unknown/taste/usage dependent:
1. Durability not known yet, although dropped rifle/scope on concrete from 4 feet, but held zero with just a little scratch;
2. While I like MOA/Mil adjustment/reticle combo, and find it simpler to use in field, some like Mil/Mil or MOA/MOA -- just a note;
3. Like m...

You get what you pay for...

Glass is fairly good, true 1x w/ no distortion, smooth zoom. The recticle, however, is just plain bad. Too thick to see your target at 6x, dispears into background at 1x. If you are looking for an inexpensive scope for plinkin', this will get it done. If you want a competion/tactical scope, I would pass, unless they change the recticle.
Pros: Easy set up
Cons: Poor recticle...
