Firefield Mini Red Laser Sight

by Edwardo, from United States, IL Written on August 29, 2014
This product seems to be of good quality. The laser if very bright and can be seen at a long distance. I put this on my Ruger 10/22 and seems to work well ands stays sighted in. I plan to put it on my slug gun this Fall for deer hunting....

Firefield Pistol Laser Sight 0.2

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 17, 2014
It would be really nice if there was instructions included with this product. There is only four lines of instructions on this package and it doesnt explain much. The description on the package is also wrong, there are 2 pieces of plastic wedge shaped widgets with 2 small knobs sticking out on each piece. I cannot figure out what they were used for at all. Also, there is too much space inside the mount that is over the trigger guard of my Colt revolver. I hope to make it work somehow and am looking forward to using it when it works correctly. ...

Flimsy construction

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on October 5, 2013
Purchased this while it was on sale at Woot. Mounting it on my S&W 1006 wasn't too difficult, and it came with a variety of plastic spacers to address different curvature in the trigger guard.

However, the switch requires significant pressure to completely turn on, and doesn't not maintain itself in the "fully on" position. Just racking the slide is enough to turn it back off.
Pros: Inexpensive, works on pistols that lack Weaver option
Cons: Does not stay on...

Failed First Time Out

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on August 3, 2012
Mounted this on a 9mm CZ Phantom. Very difficult to adjust zero with three screws. To co-witness with iron sights, it is adjusted nearly to the extreme travel in one direction. First time I took it out, it failed to hold zero and completely failed to work after about 50 rounds. Bought new batteries just in case the originals were bad, but it is dead.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Will not hold zero and failed first time out...

great value

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NY Written on March 9, 2012
good only for short distances, the mount can interfere with on/off switch and/or adjustment screws. There are 3 adjustment screws, 4 would have been better the way the adjustment works. Would recommend it even with these small cons due to the value
Pros: value and compact size, great for home & short distance
Cons: difficult adjustment, not as powerful as in specs...

ff13038 laser

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 11, 2010
well made, inexpensive easy to set up. However, if you have a Glock , an XD or similar gun, it will not mount. This laser is made for thin guns, perhaps a Walther pps.
Pros: compact, inexpensive, easy to set up
Cons: will not fit Glocks, XDs, only thin pistols...
