Great Holster. I have several Fobus Holsters. The RU101 works great with the Ruger 38 or 357. Snug fit and adjustable tension. Comfortable fit. Rides High and tight to the body.
Handy little holster

Pros: Smooth draw and reholstering, light weight
Cons: Not really a concealment holster
Would recommend: yes

This holster works well for what it is; an inexpensive kydex paddle. It looks like it sits flush for consealment use, but it actually holds the gun away from the hip, making it print easily. This is a fine holster for any open carry or convenient use, like at the shooting range.
Wonderful Holster

Pros: Inexpensive, fits the exact revolver I have
Cons: Does not conceal well, occaisionally hangs on draw
Would recommend: no

Quite disappointed in the purchase. I purchased this for my Ruger SP101 2 1/2 inch barrel snubnose revolver. I normally carry this revolver in a Mika's pocket holster but I wanted an easy to use paddle for driving at night. Unfortunately this did not solve my problem. The design allows the revolver to be visible underneath almost every jacket I have. It extends 3 1/2 inches below the bottom of my belt. With the muzzle being exposed about 5/8 inch below the bottom of the holster, there is no way it can be mistaken for anything other than a gun. I also I discovered with hundreds of practice draws that if I inadvertently push to the outside while drawing, the revolver will catch in the holster and hang up. That could potentially be fatal. I will probably just use it for the range. It may be ok for IDPA but that hanging on the draw may cost someone some points there. Personally, I liked the older style Fobus holsters better. I do not recommend this one.
