This is my first ankle holster so when approaching the purchase, I considered the box of other rejected holsters I already have and wanted to do it right the first time and did. This holster is very well made and holds its position on your leg very well. Most important the retention of the gun is outstanding. The Ruger LCR being hammerless, your options for a dependable retention without a hammer to hold a strap are few and this one dies it right. Another word about retention, being that it doesn't have a strap to come loose by itself and best of all when you draw the gun, you don't have to mess with unsnapping anything making it a quicker, more dependable draw.

I highly recommend this holster.

LCR ankle holster

I have never wore an ankle holster before and thought I would try it out. This thing is really comfortable. You forget you are even wearing it. You have to wear pants that have pretty wide legs though, it is kind of bulky. Maybe I am self concious of it though, when I ask someone if they notice it they say no. I love it when you don't want to wear a jacket or driving.
Pros: comfortable, high quality
Cons: bulky...
