Most Helpful Positive Review Great holster!
As with all other Ankle Glove models, this rig does a fantastic job of concealing even the fairly chunky, heavy Glock 27. The holster attaches vi...

First Timer

I am new to CCW. I researched and read all I could before purchasing anything. After reading all I could on weapon type, I went with a SW Model 36 J Frame in Nickle. I've tried 3 other types of holsters for it, IWB and OWB. Just not comfortable when I sit down and lean forward. This solved the problem. Comfortable, secure, and accessible. You don't even know it's there 99% of the time. Hey, pay the man! Yes, it costs more. But no Made in China tag on it. It's American craftsmanship. A reminder of how we used to roll. Spend the money. It's worth it.
Pros: Comfort - Quality - Secure

Best on the market?

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NH Written on June 10, 2013
Very high quality leather and workmanship, fits my G26 like a "glove" (couldn't resist) although I will be purchasing the calf strap just for the added security when moving at speed. BTW Great price; Beats the Galco site by a wide margin + they are out of stock at the moment!
Pros: quality piece of CCW gear made in the USA
Cons: should come with calf strap...

Great product

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WI Written on January 31, 2013
It needs a little break in, particularly to get the strap to click into the snap. I have it for a Ruger LCR and it is very comfortable and easy to forget you have it on.
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: If your ankle is "large" you will probably need the extension strap. I', 6'1" 205 and it fits fine....

very comfortable, need accessory calf strap if using with heavier weapon...the poly framed SCR by Ruger is so light you don't know it is there...it also accommodates S&W J frames...very versitle.
Pros: Comfortable to wear don't know it is there
Cons: need to wet and stretch thumb break to become functionable...

1st rate concealed carry holster

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, FL Written on October 30, 2012
extremely comfortable to wear it is like it is not even there...do need to break in to get the thumb break strap to fit the weapon carried...easy to do, however, place weapon in plastic bag then wet the thumb break strap and stretch it over the weapon and snap...let dry overnite and presto...done!
Pros: Comfortable to wear don't know it is there
Cons: need to wet and stretch thumb break to become functionable...

Overall a good buy

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WI Written on August 29, 2012
I bought this to carry my 442 with laser grips on duty as a back up gun. Unfortunately, the holster is sized that if you want to wear it over boots, you need to buy the additional $27 extender. Other than that, it's a pretty good holster. As long as your pants aren't tight in the ankles (and you don't wear shorts!), concealability is good. I'm not sure how a larger gun, like a Glock 27, would conceal. Access to the gun is great when seated (i.e. in a car), but is a bit awkward otherwise.

Overall, the AG is recommended, but be aware of its shortcomings and evaluate if it's the right holster for you. If you have a 642 or 442 with laser grips, you will need the open-top holster. Retention is good, but obviously not as good as the strap model.
Pros: Concealibility, access when seated
Cons: Size (band too small)...
