My experience with holsters is somewhat limited. I haven't used any other holsters of this type (crossbreed etc.) but I dont think I have a reason to. This fits both my glock 17 and 27. The front of the 27 sticks out below the kydex part of the holster by about 1/2" the 17 is a couple of inches or so. If you want good comfort, excellent conceal-ability, a good value, and good retention this is the holster for you.

This is my 3rd ITW holster. I alternate between one that fits mid back and the Thunderwear that fits in the front; neither of these are as comfortable or accessible to my firearm as the King Tuk. Friends tried to guide me to the Super Tuck with horsehide but the price of the King Tuk was more in the budget. Besides the fact that I only wear it on weekends, the reviews of the King Tuk seemed like a good purchase. I wore it for the first time this weekend driving 8 hrs in the car. It was very comfortable for a holster while driving. By the time I took it off for the day, it had conformed to my body shape. I am 5'8" and 160. It fit and concealed my Glock 23 Gen 4 nicely. The only thing I did the alter the way it came was adjust the hooks so it would sit lower in my pants. I love this holster.

Nice IWB (inside the waist band) holster. Much better quality and materials than Crossbreed holster, though does not hold the pistol as tight as I would like, but retention is good enough.
Very happy in the end

I bought the King Tuk to use with my SA XD-40 SC, and it does the job well. It replaced a Galco Tuck n Go because that holster was not adjustable for cant. The adjustability of the King Tuk makes carrying much more comfortable when sitting in a car and more concealable since the grip end is now more forward. Adjusting the cant is very quick and easy. It takes a little bit more time to get the holster on your belt since there's two clips, but once you get used to it, it's a snap. Tucking the shirt in also takes some time, but again once you get used to it, you can do it fairly quickly. Great holster.

Great IWB holster! You can adjust height of holster & cant. Similar to Crossbreed but thicker leather. Adjustments are super easy; quality hardware throughout the rig! Only gripe was having to break it in. When I first holstered my XDM45 compact, fit was so tight it was rackin' the slide about the last half inch. (after wearing it and drawing & re-holstering, the gun now slips in and out quite comfortably.) The backside of the holster is smooth leather; I prefer the rougher leather of the Crossbreed but again that's my preference. Retention of holster is excellent and easy on/off is great. Now, if only I could lose an inch or two on my waist, the fit would be fantastic! Hahaha!! (Optional accessory: pants 1 inch over regular waistline. LOL!) Like any IWB holster, ya gotta figure about an extra inch of space on your waistline to be comfortable wearing this type of holster. If not, you'll be spending extra bucks buying extra pants just to use it! Hahaha!
