Pros: Conceals weapon well; best with pants and shirt that are loose fitting..
Cons: Cannot wear with pants where the waist is already tight, as the gun goes inside the pant's waist line.
Would recommend: yes

Gets some getting used to, proper fit, etc. But in the end, functions extremely well and can be comfortable if fitted properly. Galco quality is superb.

Had to wait a couple of weeks since the holster was on back order; it was worth it! The large backing on the holster distributes the pressure against the body very well resulting in a comfortable concealed carry; almost forget you have it on. Holster is well made, just like all Galco products. I plan on getting another one for my 1911A1.

Kydex has very strong retention, which I assume will break in a little more with more draws. This leads to a lot of holster pull up during the draw, but the retention clips work well. No issues against bare skin, and clothing tucks with minimal effort. I sometimes forget I'm wearing it. M&P40C muzzle stops about an 1/8 of an inch past the kydex. Product was out of stock for several weeks.

I own several of this "style" of IWB holster by other makers, but this really is the most comfortable of them all, particularly when you consider it is for a full size 1911. It rides nicely, doesn't poke you in the ribs, and you easily forget you have it on. A great buy also.

Pros: Solid fit, holds the pistol close to the body, retention is NOT an issue
Cons: Possibly tooooo much retention, kydex hangs up on the ejection port causing false complete holstering
Would recommend: yes

The holster is really well built. Great materials, and a really solid feel to it. I just got it today so it might just need a bit of break in, BUT retention is kind of a problem. There's too much of it. I have a Crossbread holster as well (for a few months now) and love it. I saw the King Tuk in a magazine and figured "it's a Galco, it has to be good". It was cheaper and I wanted one like the Crossbreak for my wife so I ordered it. I'm probably going to have to cut a notch out of the kydex to prevent the ejection port from hanging up, and I'll definitely have to wear it around the house a lot since it's so tight I can't even draw the pistol. I'd still recommend it because I know it will be a great holster after the break in. I'll post another review once it breaks in to see if my preconcieved notions are right.

Love the way it grips the pistol and the comfort level is outstandng. It works great with a leather belt but if you use it with an operator belt the grrip on the pistol is so tight the holster will pull loose.

I purchased the King Tuk to replace a DeSantis Cozy Partner inside the waistband holster.
I prefer the Galco King Tuk hands-down. The Glaco is sturdy and wont rock back and forth inside my waist band and the clips make putting it on and taking it off a breeze.
With the clips in the "normal" position (In the lowest holes causing the holster to ride high), de and re holstering my Sig 229 is a breeze.
With the clips in the upper most position, and the holster riding as low as possible, de holstering is slightly more complicated and reholstering takes 2 hands (as my waist band catches on the ejection port).
That said, with the holster in the lowest sitting position, it all but completely conceals my Sig 229 on my 5'8", 165lb frame (with the holster in the 3:30 position).
I have noticed that because the kydex is on one side, the leather on the inside tends to stretch and mold to the weapon, causing the friction to lesson over a short period of time. (The kydex is just riveted ...
