Pros:  Best concealment holster for use with tucked in shirts in warm weather.
Cons:  Not as quick & easy as an OWB holster.
Would recommend:  yes

I have a KingTuk for a full size 1911 Government Model 45 ACP, and another for a Springfield XDM 3.8" compact 45 ACP. When I bought my compact 45, I really considered getting a small caliber pocket pistol so it would be easy to conceal, but for various reasons I decided to go with the bigger gun. I love both my pistols, but one of the consequences of my choices is the fact that both can be a concealment challenge under certain circumstances. If the weather is cool enough, I simply use an OWB paddle holster and let my jacket or coat hide my pistol. Because I live in Georgia; however, much of the time it is way too hot to wear even the lightest jacket. If you can wear loose, untucked shirts, a good option even in hot weather is a pancake holster with your shirt hanging over it. If, like me, you need to present a better appearance and wear tucked in shirts, then your choices really start to narrow. I've tried several types of IWB holsters, but I keep coming back to the KingTuk. The KingTuk's placement of its leather between you and the gun makes it very comfortable once you find the right placement on your back/hip. The Kydex holds the pistol securely while still releasing it easily when you draw the gun. The Kydex also keeps the holster from collapsing when the gun is drawn. This is important because it makes the gun easier to holster, plus it keeps your pants from falling when the gun is pulled from between you and the waist line. Now for the unpleasant truth concerning this holster. Putting the KingTuk on and getting it set right takes a lot more time and effort than simply slapping on an OWB holster, or even many other IWB holsters that I've tried. Another con is the fact that because the gun rides high & tight, and because the opening for the gun is small, the gun takes a little effort to line up and insert into the holster. The final drawback is the fact that you can not draw anywhere near as fast from an IWB holster as you can from an OWB holster. None of the above comments are meant as criticism of the holster, they are just reality. In my opinion; however, the pluses outweigh the minuses. The KingTuk takes more effort to put on and setup than other holsters, but it does a fantastic job of concealing even the largest of my pistols. Once you get the holster set up and your shirt tucked in, the only indication that anything is there are the two belt clips, and they don't stand out if you have a black belt. Even with a brown belt, they really don't draw attention. I've found that the best way to put the holster on is to put it on with my pants dropped, insert the gun, pull the pants up and tighten my belt with my shirt tucked in, untuck the shirt around the holster, blouse the shirt out over the holster, and then retuck the shirt around the holster and between the holster and the belt clips. You will also probably want to carry your wallet somewhere other than the back pocket near your gun. (I recommend this anyway since you don't want to reach for your wallet and have someone think that you are going for your gun.) I hope this helps. In spite of the little extra effort putting on and setting the holster, it's very comfortable and it offers excellent concealment while carrying with tucked in shirts.
