Kingtuk IWB is King in My Book

by Jimmy Jeep, from United States, MI Written on October 13, 2014
I purchased the Galco Kingtuk IWB Holster, for a Glock 19 Gen 4. This product is top notch hybrid holster. The leather is great quality, and the Kydex side of it, has great retention. The overall size is large, but the holster's dual belt clip distributes the weight nicely, and you don't really feel it there. The break-in time is just a couple days of wearing, maybe 6 - 8 total. It forms to you side and you are carrying comfortably. It works nicely wearing jeans and a T-shirt.

I am by no means a pro, and I would consider myself a novice in as many holsters I have used. This is my second Kingtuk, first being for an XDM and I really found no reason to try another IWB, since this one feels really great. I have tried ones that have the single clip, and the feeling of the weight being distributed on a single area, makes you feel the weight of the rig....
Pros:
  • Weight Distribution
  • Retention
  • Material Quality
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Conceal Carry

Best Hands Down

by paul, from United States, TX Written on September 6, 2014
I've been having to carry concealed since the mid 70's. It has always been extremely uncomfortable and painful due to the pressure on my sciatic nerve. this is the first and only product which eliminates the pain and makes my carry comfortable all day. I carry large autos, a glock 29 or and Glock 20. Works perfect with both. I highly recommend this product.......

Awesome holster

by Jon, from United States, PA Written on August 30, 2014
I have two Kingtuk holsters. One for a Sig P228 and one for a Glock 27. They are amazingly comfortable, I forget that I'm wearing it. The gun sits at a perfect angle on the rear if my hip and barely prints at all. I would recommend this holster to anyone....

Buyer Beware

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, FL Written on June 30, 2014
After three years of minimal use (average of once a month) the kydex portion of this holster broke and the holster no longer securely retains the revolver. A quick call to Galco and they want $30 to fix the problem even thought they have a chronic problem with kydex breaking....

Great Holster

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on March 30, 2014
I was looking for a holster that really concealed a weapon even when wearing t-shirts and shorts. This holster does an excellent job at that. It is comfortable, easy to wear and securely holds the weapon. Belts fit well under the clips and the flexible leather allows the holster to contour your waistline.

Pros: Price, concealibility, fit
Cons: Kydex material look...

As expected

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MS Written on January 30, 2014
This is my first holster ever so take my review for what it's worth. I knew I wanted an IWB and this model had a good review. My glock 23 fits like a glove and there is very little scratching on the slide from it. You do have to position it just right on your belt and it's tough to sit down comfortably with it. You cannot "slide" your belt after the holsters on. So it grips well but makes it a little tricky to setup unless you wear the same belt and pants all the time. However, with a sweatshirt there is no printing and it's easy to draw.
Pros: well designed and fits well
Cons: a little uncomfortable and hard to move in....
