Pros:  Weight distribution, easy to put on, holds weapon securely
Cons:  Stiff leather, no choice of colors
Would recommend:  yes

I have a S&W 500 HIVIZ w/scope, and it fits this holster very well. The first thing I noticed, though, was how stiff the leather is, and how the front sight hangs up a bit at the end of the holster when both drawing and re-holstering. This might be a problem in an emergency. Adjusting the holster is a snap, and it fits nice and snug across my torso. I'd prefer a tan-color for the holster, but that's not available. Galco says not to use neatsfoot oil to soften the leather, but if the revolver continues to hang up I'll take my chances. All in all a very nice product for the price.
