This holster held quite a surprise for me. When I first inserted my pistol into it, I was very disappointed. The retention strap was a full 1/2" too short. Before packing it up for return, I decided to read the instructions again, carefully, to see if there was any way to salvage my purchase. I read about the break-in exercises, and decided that I didn't have anything to lose. After a few minutes of exercising the holster per instructions, I could indeed fasten the retention strap for a nice snug fit. No doubt it will loosen a bit more with continued use, which will make it even better. The lesson here is that the break-in exercises are mandatory preparation with this holster. Other than that, nice holster, excellent finish, good design, & good quality... I love it. Highly recommended.
