Innovative sling

by Mike, from United States, TX Written on August 29, 2014
This sling has been around for some time, but I just recently learned about it from Jeff Cooper's "The Art of the Rifle." He was quite impressed with it, and I decided it was worth checking out. This sling is very innovative, well made by Galco, and easy to use with very little practice. I've really enjoyed using it, and consider it a great value. As usual, Galco made this product very well....

Great scout sling without drilling stock

by MontyGSR, from United States, VA Written on August 26, 2014
This sling is awesome! I didn't want to drill my stock to add a third sling stud, and this gives me the same result. Let's me pull it in tight with my elbow and is easy to use. A little stiff to start, but I look forward to breaking it in....

Great idea/sling!

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on December 28, 2013
Very impressed with the quality. A little long for a CZ 527 Carbine but fine for carry
Pros: Really "Locks you in".
Cons: Maybe a little long, (but I have a very small bolt rifle)....

Good field sling

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on August 15, 2013
This is a well made and solidly constructed sling. All of the adjustment hardware is metal and fits the slots tightly. Once adjusted to your liking it makes for a quick, stable shooting platform, much better than without it. It does have a strong smell when new, so plan on getting rid of that if you put it on a hunting rifle.
Pros: Good quality leather
Cons: Strong smell...

Too much slack.

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 17, 2013
How do I take up the slack? This is not possible. When not using the sling is always in the way. Difficult to get into a soft case to carry to range. Difficult to deal with putting into safe. Other than that it seems to work well....

Best hunting sling On The Market

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, OK Written on April 19, 2012
I own two of these, one black and one the original brown. The Ching Sling concept is great and Galco has thought it through and simplified it for use by an "everyday" hunter. My only complaint - - I personally prefered the original brown color (natural leather) to the Dark Havana.
Pros: Very high quality
Cons: A little pricey but what leather goods aren't...
