Ching sling a good choice

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, KY Written on February 16, 2010
The Galco Ching Sling is a good product that acts as a stable support on a rifle in numerous positions. Easy to setup, easy to get into and provides a very repeatable shooting position. However, your rifle will need a second sling mounting position on the forearm. While some of the second studs as are common Remington 700 models will work, the second position really needs to be between 2-5 inches in front of the magazine floor plate for optimum use of the sling. The Ching sling can be set to a preferred length and, once set, is extremely easy to get into.

RS8 Ching Sling

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on December 6, 2009
The Ching Sling is an igenious invention by Eric Ching which attaches to your rifle at 3 points. It provides as much stabilty as does a regular military sling, but is much faster to apply. Galco's craftsmanship is first class on this product, and their installation instructions are easy to follow. I put it on a Mini-14, and it functions perfectly for shooting prone or standing. I highly recommend this sling. My plan is to buy more for my other rifles. OP's price was the lowest I found and their shipping was fast.
Pros: all features as expected
Cons: none...
