I wear this belt when packing a S&W J-frame revolver and also for a model 25-14 which is a 2-1/2 Lb weapon. I have also carried a Ruger Alaskan in a pancake holster with this belt with ease and kept the weapon concealed. this double layer belt really has the backbone to support a load, including ammo slides on the off side.
