I am curently using the AV250B Galco Sig-Sauer P229 Avenger Belt Holster -Right Hand Black. I am a former State Parole Officer Supervising an avereage of 120 Adult Felons, also Police Officer, and County Deputy. My time in Parole Require Concealed Carry so I can say that this holster is very comfortable, quite secure, and breaking leather for rapid access is of no concern. The holster is well designed with an additional reinforcing section of leather on the upper section. One should have no concern of leather breaking down and compromising future retention security or ease of re-holstering. The holster can be adjusted for firmness of retention. I was very pleased to find that both my Sig P229 9mm as well as my Sig P229 .40 caliber will both holster with Equal ease and securety without any tension adustments necessary. The Avenger carries quite confortably for long periods. It is essentially a High Ride. Small enough for easy concealed carry with no Compromise in Performence or Retention ...
