tuck-n-go holster

by Joel, from United States, TX Written on March 20, 2015
The overall quality of the holster seems to be good, but it lacks a good hook to hold it in place when drawing your weapon. All other in the pants holsters I have used have a hook, loop or snap to hold it to your belt so that when you draw your weapon the holster stays in place. This one has a very short and narrow (the other problem) hook for your belt or pants and a short outside hook to hold it down. Problem is this hook should reverse in on itself and be deeper to allow for wider belts. Too bad really... I really wanted to like this holster....

great carry option

by dt300mm, from United States, TX Written on March 17, 2015
Because of it's low price I think this is a great holster, but I modified mine before I put it into service. Galco uses a piece of heavy gauge wire around the mouth of the holster to keep it open. This allows for one handed re-holstering, something I'm not concerned about. The wire increases the width & adds to the profile the holster can print through your clothes. It's a a simple matter to cut the stitching & remove the wire. Then IMO it's a great little holster...
Pros:
  • gun/holster are invisible
Cons:
  • re-enforced mouth when not needed
Best Used for:
  • deep concelement

Another Winner from Galco

by Moose, from United States, MI Written on November 1, 2014
This is one you want to consider of you wish to carry concealed regardless of your attire of the day. Even with a coat and tie, you can whatever arm you wish and still take your jacket off. This is my fourth one (S&W 60, 642, M&P Shield 9 and now the G19G4). Take some time to find where is rests best inside your waistband. Also, to tuck your shirt down in the "gap". It helps to rotate the grip forward slightly to help clear the front sight when drawing. Take time to sort that out. When you go into a restroom stall you'll need to consider where to "park" it while you TCB....
Pros:
  • price, quality, FFF (form, fit, function)
Cons:
  • not a quick draw holster
Best Used for:
  • Concealment
  • Personal protection

Falcons tuck n go

by Chris, from United States, MA Written on October 21, 2014
IFor the money this is a well built holster, only comments I have are that it is very hard to re holster without removing and if you are like me ( a little round in the middle) the firearm will dig into your side while sitting. Overall a nice, well built easy to put on holster....

Great Holster, Great Price

by R. Cliff, from United States, VA Written on August 11, 2014
This is a truly great holster for a great personal protection pistol at a great price. The belt retention works well, but I must say a thicker belt gives a surer draw. I carry this configuration whenever I am in a high crime area and do not want a larger pistol printing through my clothing. If you carry a Kimber Solo, simply put, you need one of these....

Can't beat it for the money

by TheyCallMeLucky, from United States, NC Written on July 30, 2014
A little tight at first but a few nights with the firearm in it, have loosened it up. Nice product overall. I use with a Springfield XD 4". Takes some positioning to figure out where to place it, but does the job well....

This is a great item. It is well made and comfortable to wear. After a very brief break-in period, drawing the pistol is effortless. For the money, I don't think this can be beat.

Bought this because I wanted a more comfortable appendix carry, tuckable holster. This holster provides for all of those wants...I highly recommend it! It is much better than the kydex holster I used before, which dug into my abdomen.
