I purchased the Flick primarily for the fact it was similar to my company issued Gerber Maintenance multi-tool. It has all the practical tools needed to go in any survival pack. Each tool feels like it is mounted solidly with very little play when they are locked in place. The scissor are strong enough to cut through thick material and are large enough to do it with ease.
My only real concern would be with the pliers. While they are very easily accessible they feel flimsy and have a bit more play than what I was expected. I haven't put the pliers to a whole lot of use yet, but only time will tell how they hold up.
Overall it's a good multi-tool that is priced very well. For a survival kit, I would easily choose this over the Leatherman Wave.
Pros: It has all the essential tools for a survival multi-tool
Cons: I worry about the long term durability of the pliers.
