Comfortable carry option!

by Andrew, from United States, FL Written on September 20, 2014
I purchased the size 12 for my Springer XDS and it's a perfect fit. Holster is comfortable and often forgotten about when wearing it. Very impressed. This is now my daily carry while wearing jeans. Holster is most comfortable while wearing cowboy boots to hold it in position. I also didn't find the calf extension to be of any use....
Pros:
  • Price, performance
  • Good fit
  • comfortable,
Cons:
  • None

So far, I really like this holster. Light weight, and very easy to adjust via the velcro straps. Once adjusted properly, you almost forget that you are carrying.
Pros: Light weight
Cons: none...

Good for short carry

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on September 3, 2010
The Uncle Mikes ankle holster is not a bad holster for the price. It fits my Kahr PM9 well and does a good job of concealing it. Unlike a lot of ankle holsters this one comes with a calf strap. This is not the most comfortable ankle holster because of the lack of padding. If you plan on wearing it for more than a couple of hours at a time you might want to consider something else like the Galco ankle glove with calf strap. That holster is considerably more comfortable for all day wear and is worth the extra money. The only other negative is the construction. I am not sure how long the elastic calf strap will last. For the price it is not a bad holster.
Pros: Cheap, conceals well
Cons: Not comfortable for long periods of time, not best construction...

I use this holster daily for my Glock 26. This is my 2nd one. My first lasted for over 3 years of daily use on duty and off duty. It is easy to put on and it fits tight for concealment. My Glock 26 fits tight in the holster and the adjustable thumb snap keeps it secured....
