If you adjust your sling length often for position shooting, swivels with round wire loops work better than these more recently available "heavy duty" swivels with square cross-section loops because the friction at the square corners doesn't let the sling slide through very easily. The rough phosphate finish makes it even worse. The metal locking barrel on the QR button is a nice feature, but the QR mechanism is not smooth, again partially due to the phosphate finish but the spring mechanism itself could be improved also. It is not as well controlled as the Uncle Mikes type swivels. Thorough lubing with a thicker oil, like FP-10 helps quite a bit. Minor drawbacks aside, they're still very good swivels and look really good on military and "tacticool" rifles. The finish is a matte dark grey color, and they look tough!
Pros: Strength, Look military tough!
Cons: QR mechanism is not smooth, Harder sling adjustments...
