i use it for holding my daily concealed carry instead of using my primary gun safe. This means at least two access openings per day. After a year, the safe wouldn't open electronically. You can hear the motor turn but nothing would happen. Being a part time gunsmith, it decided to take the lock assembly out to take a look. The spring locking lever is actuated by a small electric motor spinning a braided wire around an axle. The wire had broken off the crimp. I can see the design causing a lot of flex at that point and causing it to break over time. Fortunately the cable was long enough to repair it, but it's not an easy fix. Other than that, the finger buttons are easy to locate in the dark and screwing it down to a heavy piece of furniture like an armoir makes it secure against curious kids.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: May not hold up to daily use
