The case is not deep enough (high enough) to put the gun in with the handle towards you. All double stack mag handguns will likely have this problem. As a simple concealed locking case for the car or to keep things in it will work great. Not sure I really want to keep a loaded weapon in one though, too many safety issues for me. Case is really not that secure but will deter the typical smash and grab thief.

This is why I am about to send my nv300 back. Someone, more specifically, my nephews could easily pry my safe open with a gap that large. I know this safe is very inexpensive so that i should not expect too much. But it should secure much better than that! It looks and feels sturdy, but it just does not close tightly.
