Rock solid

by pirateepd, from United States, VA Written on March 14, 2015
This bipod attaches and detaches quickly if you are using it on multiple platforms, yet it stays tight on the rifle. It is also compact when not deployed (compared to some other brands, especially ones with rail mounts), helping the rifle to keep a low profile. I've owned Harris bipods before and tried a cheaper brand recently, then went back to Harris within a week. It deploys quickly and solidly, and the screws on the legs and swivel stay where you have them set. The tension screw for the swivel is small, so I replaced it with a lever, which was simple to do. If you need something rugged and dependable, Harris is the way to go....
Pros:
  • Ruggedness
  • Construction

Excellent Option

by Horseman, from United States, MI Written on March 13, 2015
Harris Engineering has long been a household name in Bipods. This is no exception. For $100 you cannot go wrong with the quality and durability of this item. Perfect for my budget 10/22 build, and with the new magpul MLOK bipod stud adapter, I can switch it back and forth between those and my ARs with no problem....

does not rotate

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, OH Written on March 26, 2013
I thought when it said swivel series that it would swivel from side to side, it doesnt. It leans side to side. would not have purchased if I would have understood that. It is still a very nice bipod and is made very sturdy yet light. If you want true swivel, then look for words on description like pan or rotate, not swivel or pivot.
Pros: solid, sturdy, quality made
Cons: does not rotate...
