One of the gloves hard knuckle plate appears to be sewn on a little offset, but they fit okay. Good gloves if you still want cut protection in a hard knuckle package. ...

Hatch Operator

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MT Written on July 17, 2012
I purchased these after wearing out my Army standard issue hatch gloves. The goatskin leather is layered two or maybe three times in some spots, with kevlar lining, this creates a very bulky fit, especially in the finger tips. Good gloves, but dexterity is loss due to thickness. However, the knuckle guard and overall quality is great.
Pros: Great protection
Cons: Thick/bulky...

Will buy again

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, VA Written on May 4, 2012
I have used these for over two years now. Sizing runs a little small in my opinion. I did the Hatch sizing chart and I was at the high end of medium. All my gloves are mediums and since I wanted a snug fit for dexterity, I went with medium. These have a very snug fit and there is no stretch over time like all my issued flight and leather gloves. But...that aside, the gloves do what is expected and more. Good grip on just about everything I handled, even picking up loose change with a good feel on triggers. Running a weapon in 100F temps all day that was too hot to touch with bare hands was no problem with these gloves. After two years, abused but still functional but saying that, its time purchase again and I will size up to a large.
Pros: Great fit and usage.
Cons: Sizing runs small...

Very well made glove

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CA Written on November 13, 2010
This is a well-made glove. Knuckle protection is definitely a plus. All finger protection is good. To know that the glove protects from scratches, fire, flash, and water (to certain degrees) is good. However, I have not tested the glove to the latter 4 conditions and I don't plan on doing that extensively. Ideally, for tactical weapons use, I'd prefer a glove that sticks tight as a tick to the skin surface, which this glove adds some layer of bulk to the hand. Fitting through tight spaces may take some care.
Pros: full hand protection, knuckle protection, variety of other protection provided
Cons: for small trigger weapons, may have to be careful fitting finger through to trigger...
