Hatch Winter Specialist All-Weather Glove Black XL 1010749

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 6, 2011
Out of the package they seemed to be what I was looking for. Light, easy to function when on, and relatively warm. However, within 10 minutes of walking my dog the material which comprised the palm had disintegrated. It's as though I was wearing paper. The palm was literally worn through from holding the leash! My one concern when shopping for them was, "aren't these almost too cheap price wise?" Well, they are!
Pros: None
Cons: Useless...

4063: Hatch Winter Specialist All-Weather Shooting Glove NS430L

I got these gloves for fishing gloves. I am a professional fisherman and do not get to choose the days I fish. I have tried many diff. gloves, and these are at the top of the list so far. The gloves were very comfortable. The feelability(what I could feel) vs. the warmth was good.I would def. I did however have an issue as the thumb started comming apart within a couple odf days. The good thing was, I contacted the company and they gave me no hassles. So i can not attest to the durability yet, but so far they seem to stand behind the product. Because of this, I would still highly recommend them. I was impreesed with the warmth vs. how thick they were most of all. I they will hold up, I feel the feelability will only get better as the gloves get a little wear on them. They were waterproof even with the thumb comming apart.
Pros: Very warm and comfortable and dry-feelability was good
Cons: Not sure of the durability...

Product Review #4602 Hatch Winter Spcecialist

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on March 21, 2010
This lightweight and versatile glove works great in extreme cold temperatures but also in warmer weather. I have used them for years and only them. The stretch and conforming fit make you forget that you even have them on. I work outdoor a lot and find them dependable even in the rain, wear and tear is slow!
Pros: lightweight, versatile, conforming, dependable and long lasting.
Cons: haven't found one yet...

Solid Build, but Not a Shooting Glove as Stated

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on January 30, 2010
I bought these gloves because I needed something that I could wear in the 20-30 degree weather but still be able to use zippers, pens, notepads and most importantly my sidearm. With a title like "Hatch Winter Specialist All-Weather Shooting Glove" I was very hopeful. Upon receiving my gloves and putting them on I found that they appeared to be built well and comfortable. They were definitely going to do the job of handling the cold weather. After wearing these gloves for a couple of weeks, I am not as happy. They are very thick at the ends of the fingers...like they have material bunched at the end. They make it hard to do simple task like get out a pencil/pen from my pocket, typing on the patrol cars computer and writing on my notepad and I don't feel completely comfortable shooting with them as they are a bit thick. They are great if working a non-patrol task and you are more concerned about weather over manipulating small items. They are extremely durable (used them while changing a tire). I had to remove them to do any searches were I wasn't just looking for large weapons....they made it difficult to get into pockets and feel small items. Overall I wouldn't recommend to others and once again I am in search of the perfect patrol glove.
Pros: Well built and warm
Cons: Thick and bunched fingertips....
