First let me say that this grip is an awesome addition to any AR and in my case a M&P 15. The feel is awesome and so much better than the stock plastics that it is unreal. Very nice aluminum construction and is a great look overall. There are 2 main issues that I have with the grip. One is that you can't use a barrel nut wrench with this because the inlets are far too inset. I think that they could have used less threading on the forearm and brought the holes out enough to get a wrench on them or made it a 3 piece where you had a smaller barrel nut and then had a transition ring that went in between the nut and threaded forearm that could screw into said transition ring. Because of this a strap wrench must be used where torque can't be measured and in most cases unless you have a REALLY nice strap wrench it will break when trying to install (or did in my case). The other issue is having to bend the gas tube so that the forearm will screw in. It takes a lot of tinkering to get the right angle of repose so theres no drag between the gas tube and gas key in the bolt. On another note, Hogue does sell a pre bent gas tube but it's an extra 20 bucks. Again though, it is overall a very nice product and I would and have recommended it to others.
Pros: The feel is excellent, light weight, quality machining
Cons: Install is a bit of a pain
