This Ruger .243 has been used by four of my six children and now it's being passed down to the fifth one which is 12 years old. The new stock fit to the rifle as though it was custom made for it. The for-end does move with force applied to it I do not see this as a problem because the barrel is completely free from the stock. The aluminum bedding anchored in to the action better than I have hoped for. The stock's but pad is very soft, perfect for a young shooter. Also the Nikon scope modal #6724 Camo pattern matched perfectly with the stock.
Pros: Stable aluminum bedding, free floated barrel and awsome camo pattern.
Cons: Although still soft the Hogue "Sticky" tecture is less due to camo cover. IMO...
