i installed this on a Mossberg 500 with a mag tube adapter and remote switch, works great.

Put this on my Benelli M1 with an adaptor and it works well. Weight does not inhibit the inertia operating system of the M1 (with standard 2 3/4" 00 buck loads) and weight was my main concern in a light purchase for this particular weapon. The plastic construction may get beat up around the bezel with extended use though.

I tried the M3 at my local gun shop, but the M3X is much brighter. The fit is perfect for my rail, which I was concerned about because the SIG rail is not precisely a 1911 rail. Also, weight is minimal and does not affect gun balance. I definitely recommend this light, it is excellent quality and great value.
