I used it to mount a chrono and it seems to work okay for that. It's easy enough to use and setup but the plastic part that attaches to your camera or chrono that plugs into the top of the tripod is of very poor quality and it shattered, it actually arrived like that, any sort of hard bumps on that part will cause it to break, I used a bunch of JB Weld to try and hold it together in the mean time until I can get a different tripod. It's a $15 tripod, don't expect a lot.
Pros: Cost, easy to use, easy setup
Cons: Sub-par plastic on the top adapter arrived broken and will easily break with use. ...
