Pros: Lots of Light, Clear Glass, Can see .223 holes at 200 yards.
Cons: Flimsy Tripod. And the camera adapter is for little point and shoots, not a SLR - Minor Point for me.
Would recommend: yes

I had bought a cheap spoe previous and it could only be used out to 50 yards. I could pretty much see this far with the scope on my gun. The Konuspot can see .223 holes out to 200 yards which is just what I need. The 80mm diameter lets in lots of light. The glass is clear. The unit focuses easy enough. It does everything I need it to do. The tripod is flimsy. It is ok for use on a very calm day, but you will need something more sturdy if there is any wind. Overall, this is an excellent spotting scope for an affordable price.

This is a great spotting scope for the money. It is lighter than I expected for its size. I haave only had it a week, but have had other economy spotting scopes over the years.
I was choosing between this, and a Leupold Sequoia 15x45 60mm. The Leupold has great optics and is weatherproof but lacked the swiveling body. the swiveling body helps adjust the angle of the eyepiece when on a table or with a window mount. The Konus 7120 does everything I wanted in a scope. The supplied case is better than I expected. It is lightly padded Nylon with room for the supplied tabletop tripod. The tripod is also better than I expected from the other reviews. I expected useless junk but it is a respectable economy aluminum tripod. good enough for what I will use it for. It will mostly be used on a window mount or an old heavy aluminum Bell and Howell tripod. I also went for the free digital camera mount. It seems to work ok so far, but it is a little tricky to mount but I think it will be handy once ...

This is my second Konus, had problems with the first one, but so far, this new one is fantastic. Spotting for target shooting where you have to wear glasses is so much easier with the new long eye relief eyepiece, focusing is fast and easy. 45 degree eyepiece reduces strain on the neck. Best money I have ever spent on a telescope.

this is a must have spotter for this amount of money! the view is clear, crisp and well defined. i can see as well with this scope as i can a freinds kowa (he paid much more for his scope!) the mound could be heavier for stability but even with the added cost of a better mount this is a best buy imho

The spotting scope more than meets my expectations. The minor irritations are that the cary bag is flimsy and the protective covers fall off easily. Overall, I would buy this scope again and recomend it.

Side by side comparison with high end ($1000 range)scopes shows little difference. Very good eye relief for looking thru with eyeglasses. Very good for target work.
