Rated this as one star only because zero stars was not a possible choice. The unit installed on my pistol easily and worked fine at home. I went to the range and shot only 45 rounds with the laser off. Then I turned on the unit to try it out and to check to see if it needed to be adjusted to zero it. The laser would turn on and light up and would turn off (you could see this by looking back through the lens into the unit), but it would not shine out through the lens because the laser had apparently become misaligned with the lens, thus rendering the unit worthless. One of the guys working at the range verified this. I had neither dropped it nor banged it against anything.

I have been using this laser on a Kel Tec 9mm for about 600-700 shots. The gun has a lot of recoil because it is very small and light weight. The laser has held up very well and it holds zero. It actually works a lot better than much more expensive units that I have on other guns.
